Cancellations must be made in writing before the agreed move-in date. If a booking is cancelled more than 14 days before the start of the tenancy, any rent paid will be refunded in full, minus a small administrative fee. Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date may result in the forfeiture of the deposit or one week’s rent. Once the tenancy has commenced, rent is non-refundable unless a suitable replacement tenant is found.
Break of lease policy
If a tenant chooses to end their lease early, they must provide written notice and continue to pay rent until a replacement tenant is found or the lease term ends, whichever comes first. The tenant may also be responsible for reasonable advertising and reletting fees.
